Local Foundation Offers Education Grants
The Cornhusker Motor Club Foundation will once again offer grant opportunities to assist Nebraska K-12 educators.  This year, the Foundation plans to award $40,000 to support teachers representing public, private, and parochial schools in Nebraska.

Funding opportunities include traditional grants in amounts up to $2,000, and literacy/book grants up to $500.  The traditional grants are designed to fund innovative programs or projects that will significantly enhance the students’ classroom experience.  Literacy/book grants may be used for classroom or library reading materials that will challenge and excite students.

Employees of public, private, or parochial schools, grades K-12 in Nebraska may apply for a grant.  The online application process is fast and easy.   Details can be found at www.CornhuskerFoundation.org.  This year’s submission deadline is October 1, 2018.

The Cornhusker Motor Club Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Nebraska, and is funded largely by AAA–The Auto Club Group and its members.  To learn more, visit www.CornhuskerFoundation.org
