Demonstrating "Nebraska Nice", AAA Provides Free Roadside Assistance to CWS Fans

With the “Greatest Show on Dirt” attracting thousands of baseball fans to Omaha, some College World Series attendees may find themselves in need of a jumpstart, tire change, or tow service following the game.  In these situations, all they need to do is contact AAA for complimentary roadside assistance.

“AAA is pleased to provide free assistance to CWS fans in need,” stated Tina Gass, Director of Automotive Services for AAA – The Auto Club Group.   “Providing this valuable service is not only helping motorists get safely back on the road, it’s just one more way we can demonstrate genuine Nebraska hospitality to those visiting our state.”

AAA will provide free jumpstarts, tire changes, fuel delivery (maximum 3 gallons) or towing services (within 5 miles) at no cost to CWS attendees needing assistance near the ball park.  Other automotive related services may be available.

A roadside assistance AAA fleet operations driver will be on site at the ball park from noon to 10 pm daily, June 17 through the championship game, which will be held on June 28 or 29.

The AAA service vehicle will be stationed with the Omaha Police Department mobile command unit located in Lot F.  To receive service, a car owner may contact an Omaha police officer stationed at or near TD Ameritrade Park, or they may contact AAA at 1-800-AAA-NEBR.  Proof of vehicle ownership may be required for certain services.
