Education Grants Available to Teachers in Nebraska

The Cornhusker Motor Club Foundation is offering grant opportunities to assist Nebraska K-12 educators. Funding opportunities include traditional grants in amounts up to $2,000, and literacy/book grants up to $500.  Traditional grants are designed to fund innovative programs, school events, community volunteerism efforts, or projects that will significantly enhance the students’ classroom experience.  Literacy/book grants may be used for classroom or library reading materials that will challenge and excite students.  Any employee of a public, private, or parochial school, grades K-12 in Nebraska may apply.  The online application process is fast and easy.   Details can be found at www.CornhuskerFoundation.org.  This year’s submission deadline is October 1, 2016.
